Let's Get Moving!
Our qualified health and wellness coaches adapt activity and exercise to the individual so everyone can enjoy the benefits of moving their body.
Active Support
We understand that there may be some barriers preventing people from moving their bodies and enjoying an active lifestyle.
Statistics from 2020 highlight alarming disparities, such as the median age of death being 61 years for First Nations People and Torres Strait Islander individuals, with leading causes including coronary heart disease, diabetes, lung and airway conditions, cancers, and self-harm. These staggering figures outline the urgent need for preventative interventions.

Let's be clear: Some chronic health conditions are not preventable because they are genetic or because the cause is unknown. Examples include type 1 diabetes, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, endometriosis and cystic fibrosis.
Other chronic health conditions can develop due to lifestyle choices that people can control. Examples include heart disease, type 2 diabetes, kidney disease, some lung diseases and stroke.
So, what things can you do to reduce your risk of developing a preventable chronic health condition?
These lifestyle choices are a good place to start:
- quitting smoking
- getting enough physical activity
- reducing your alcohol intake
- eating well
- maintaining a healthy weight
- maintaining healthy blood pressure
- having good cholesterol levels
Support with these lifestyle changes is where we come in.
