Mental Health Support
Innovating the way mental health support is delivered because we know clinical isn't for everyone.
Movement Therapy
Instead of a clinical environment for counselling and therapy, we get moving. This is our innovative way of making therapy more appealing and well-received. Therapy sessions are a little more inconspicuous when you can go to the gym or basketball court to shoot some hoops with our qualified counsellors or psychologists.

One in five (20%) Australians aged 16-85 experiences a mental illness in any year. The most common mental illnesses are depression, anxiety and substance abuse disorder. These three types of mental illnesses often occur together in one person.
The AIHW report says that 1 in 7 current Stolen Generations survivors live with a disability. Around 33% have problems accessing services. Additionally, almost 66% of Stolen Generations survivors have a household income in the bottom 30%. (Who are the Stolen Generations? | The Healing Foundation)
54% of people with mental illness do not access any treatment.
Every day, at least six Australians die from suicide, and a further thirty people will attempt to take their own lives.
Unfortunately, suicide is the leading cause of death for Australians aged 25-44 and the second leading cause of death for our young people aged 15-24.

By having therapy offered in a non-conventional, culturally sensitive way, we aim to reduce these statistics and reach people who may have previously rejected the idea of getting mental health support before based on its clinical delivery.
